6/5/17 to 6/18/17

Well sorry I missed last week but some great things happened so I'm gonna tell you all about it.

       Monday the 5th we met with our investigators we taught the daughter and mom who is less active but we got to know where she stands better and it was really good. we are helping the daughter to understand more and it's going really well.

        Tuesday we tried lots of people then we did service at the nursing place they are so nice and like to ask questions which is awesome! then we went tracting and handed out a book of Mormon to a lady that was recovering from surgery and she said she would read it. we also met this less active family and they are awesome but need to come to church. we are going to get them back!

       Wednesday we tried some people and then we weeded a garden that was fun didn't take as long as we thought so that's good!

      Thursday we weekly planned and went to a relief society activity. it was based on the 5 little pigs so it was cute.

       Friday we tried a ton of people so that was fun and we did some planning.

       Saturday in the morning we tried people but then we were running late everywhere. we meet some new people in our ward they were super nice and it was just crazy but it was really good too!

      Sunday we had ward council which was awesome then church where some of the best talks i have heard were given they were awesome.she talked about understanding the gospel and how them moving up here has truly helped them. it was great! then we had dinner with an awesome family they are great and then we taught our investigators the plan of salvation and put them on a date for baptism! it was awesome. they are doing so good too!

       Monday the 12th well this day we did nothing basically. I was super sick so we had to stay in but I finally watched the best 2 years so now no one can be super shocked that I hadn't watched it. we got transfer calls sister Spendlove has left me and is in Bemidji now so that's awesome!

       Tuesday I was feeling better so we got right back to work. we met some more members of the ward then did service at the nursing home and this sweet old man was talking with us and might want to learn about the gospel so that's awesome! then we saw a single sister we just love her so much then we had dinner with this family and she offered to etch on cups stuff for our mission I haven't fully decided on mine but sister Spendlove was pretty awesome so I'm excited to have that one day! then we did more service for some less actives who have a fox I need to get a picture but its pretty cool.

      Wednesday we met another family in the ward and then went to see the single sister again she fed us lunch and we helped with some little things that needed to be done. then sister Spendlove packed and I did some other things around the apartment. then we saw some members so sister Spendlove could say bye. we saw our investigators and got a lesson set up they are awesome the daughter was sad to see her leave too!

       Thursday was transfer day we didn't know who my comp was but I hung out with sister Beutler and Myers and we may have done a transfer board and guessed my companion was sister weeks! it was fabulous. we picked up sister weeks and I and her got her all settled in.

      Friday we had district meeting which was really good our district made up this great movie based off a would you rather question wish we would have filmed it but oh well.we mainly weekly planned that whole evening. we had a lesson at 2 which was really good.

    Saturday was good we stopped in on some people then we helped with the scouts day camp that was fun played some awesome games with them. it was raining basically all day we went to try people but when we were outside there was a good amount of thunder so we went back in. then we had dinner with a fun family then taught English class someone finally showed up! then we had a lesson with our investigator the dad he has a strong desire to come to church and change but his work is the worst it keeps getting in the way! it's awful!

     Sunday was fathers day it was great we gave the men pie and then we got some haha it was wonderful! then we tried most of the referrals we have and it was good they weren't really interested but it was good that we met them.

June

Well its crazy how it is already June i feel like that cant be true but it is,

Monday we taught Amy an investigator and it was good she comes from a mexico break off colony so kinda hard when they know a lot of the stuff but its just a little bit different so its interesting teaching her. after our lesson we saw a sister who recently moved into the ward. she is awesome i love her!

Tuesday  we started doing service at Bethel Lutheran rehabilitation center and we serve ice cream to the people there! great perk we get ice cream too haha and its the good stuff. the rest of the day was spent trying people.oh and we started exchanges which were fun!

Wednesday i spent the day in williston 1st ward. we did service for a few hours in the morning. then we taught a recent convert who cant come to church because she works from like 7 am to 10 pm its nuts! then we had dinner with some bomb members then we went to ward correlation but they weren't there yet so we swung on some swings it was great! then we exchanged back it was fun!

Thursday we had district meeting and then we meet with the relief society president it was a great meeting and now we know some people we need to try! then we weekly planned and then tried some people before dinner with a less active who is super sweet!

Friday was crazy we went visiting teaching which was fun! then we tried some families before an appointment with this sister who feels doomed because she made some mistakes we arent sure how to help her know she is loved. then we had dinner with this awesome family and then we shared a message with some members they are awesome. i told them i haven't seen the best 2 years. i have been scolded so much for saying that but they are buying it so i can watch it haha soon i will be able to say its a great movie!

Saturday we did service with other missionaries then we had lunch with the sisters which was awesome! then we tried a ton of people and then had dinner with a member at qdobas and her non member friend we had just been talking about showed up it was awesome #miracles

then we tracted and it was great!

Sunday morning are very interesting.... we can go tracting but everyone else seems to be at church during that time odd.... haha we meet this sweet catholic who truly follows what is taught and she believes very similar to us.  its great we arent that different. then we had church it was bomb! we went to gospel doctrine the teacher is my favorite always learn so much! then in relief society we talked about patriarchal blessings and got great study tips! then we had dinner with this cute family and we are going to go visiting teaching with them this week so thats awesome.

I just love being a missionary and am so grateful for the opportunity to serve!

well last week was awesome!

Tuesday we had interviews with president Hess which was fun. i got to see sister Allen that was fun i missed her! sister Bennett got to go on splits with us too bad everyone cancelled but its all good!

Wednesday we had zone conference which was awesome. the spirit was so strong and all the training's were inspired thats for sure!

Thursday we weekly planned a little bit then we went to help a sister plant flowers. hopefully they don't die haha it was fun then we talked with the sister about going to the temple. she is working on going soon so thats awesome!

Friday we finished weekly planning and went apartment shopping. Oh we have to find a new apartment in our ward so we got to do that so now i get to move in the next month haha should be fun! we went tracting and then had dinner with a pretty awesome family. then we tried some less actives.

Saturday we tried some people. our investigator was one of the people we tried and we were able to get in and they have been reading and praying and its been really good so solid! now how do we get them to church thats the struggle. we saw this less active and she gave us cake and fresh cow milk. it was pretty awesome. then we had dinner with this family they are chill. then we tried more people!

Sunday....these are odd days since church starts at 3 pm.... so we go tracting at 11 am people should be home right? nah everyone is at church haha so its rough but always fun! we had ward council they are awesome! then we had church and everything is just great! after church we had dinner with this family they are awesome we talked about his mission like the entire time it was amazing. i love hearing about other peoples missions!

Luau!

So monday was pretty sweet! we meet this sweet new lady that moved into the ward and she is my favorite! she has a crazy awesome story and i love it! then we tried a potential and she is super interested in the gospel so a new investigator! this area is awesome!

 Tuesday was good we saw some members and tracted nothing too crazy!

Wednesday was more trying people and tracting.

Thursday was good we meet some more members and the went tracting which is always fun haha. this ward is awesome.

Friday we had district meeting and tried a ton of people! and tracted! we are really trying to meet everyone on our ward list so thats a project!

saturday was awesome!🌺 the williston area does a Luau every year and we got to be in it. we sang im yours and it was great and all the performances were amazing! its was like all day set up and then peformance it was the best!!!!!!! haha oh great thing happened we pulled apart a pig for the luau it was great!

Sunday was church it was awesome we gave talks. we were asked to speak on thursday haha life of a missionary! but it was great.

monday was great we meet with a less active sister who read like 9 chapters of the book of mormon in 3 days cause she found it so interesting. it was pretty sweet! then we helped a sister clean up and she is just so open with us and is the best! then we saw our investigator and she is solid she is keeping comittments and going strong wohoo! then we saw a recent convert and they are awesome. i dont know what to say about this area besides its great haha!

Happy Mothers Day!

well its been a wonderful week!

 Monday we had dinner with a family in the ward. he is in the bishopric and they are pretty awesome. the members here and just bomb pretty good at inviting people over for dinner when we come its great!

 Tuesday we tried a ton of people basically our life story now. but we meet this sweet lady from another church.she said we could come do service there and when she gets back into town we can have orange juice haha. super sweet lady. we had dinner with the youngs they are sweet! so willing to serve to. then we taught English class and had a trade off lesson with the elders so they could teach Luciano in Spanish.

Wednesday we tried some people before a lesson with sister eddy a recent convert. she is pretty cool and is gonna invite her brother to have the lessons.we went tracting and then we went to the church to get some lists man so many list that are so helpful wohoo!

Thursday we practice with the zone for the Luau. it was fun we are gonna kill it! then we weekly planned and then went tracting. we do that a lot when opening an area haha its great!

Friday we had district meeting and it was pretty bomb!  then we had lunch and then meet with the elders in our ward to go over some of the teaching records they gave us. we had dinner with a pretty cool family. i just love this ward.then we tried some less actives but no one likes to be home haha.

Saturday we meet with this part member family and they are golden!  the husband and daughter are new investigators. they both said they would be baptized if they knew it was true. its awesome! they are great he dad wants to do it for the kids. we had dinner with this family like 30 minutes or so away and they are great giving book of Mormons to the ups man haha so funny and i decided to count the oil rigs on the way back there were 110 in 30 minutes thats a lot haha! 

Sunday was mothers day! we finally got in with some less actives before church wohoo! church was great and we had pie for relief society. then we went to dinner and Skype. it was great to see my family just so crazy th next time i see them will be in person its nuts! i cant believe it has been 15 months already. the best 15 months of my life though! I love the gospel and serving my Savior and God
